Feedback and Comments from Sunday's students:
The class was great, I’ve really enjoyed it a lot and the price was very reasonable. I’ve learned a few new skills and techniques and had the opportunity to ask questions about my concerns.
The class with Pat Carroll was outstanding! First of all, he was a terrific presenter, blending knowledge, clarity, humor, and skill. In the individual class, he interacted, easily, instructed clearly, made excellent suggestions and critiques, and remained encouraging and supportive to all the participants. The class project was challenging to say the least, but matched with his stated goal of developing higher level turning skills. His mission clearly was accomplished. MSWG should be proud of hosting such a high level class was such an exceptional instructor. The cost for the class was right on target. Offerings such as these clearly raise the level of the club and add value to the members. Thanks to all for arranging such as a successful weekend.
The Pat Carroll event (All Days) was excellent. This is how our club should operate every month. This weekend was outstanding - “Thank you” to all those that are responsible.
I really enjoyed the class. It was very informative, and I found the instructions and the one-on-one time particularly helpful. The project was great, and I felt the cost was reasonable and well worth it. I would definitely attend again.
The event was great from Friday nite meet and greet to the club demo and the extra afternoon demo. I was surprised that the afternoon session didn’t have more people. I don’t know if it was price or having other things to do in the afternoon. Personally, I think the $30 was more than fair for someone of Pat’s caliber.
Sunday's on hands demo was a bargain. 8 hours of instruction with Pat and Rick Stone was well worth the price of admission. Another benefit was getting to know more members of the club that before I just exchanged pleasantries in passing. Much like the president challenge, I enjoy getting pushed out of my comfort zone. I think each of us at one point or another struggled on part of the work. At no point was there judgement, just friendly advice or suggestions to fix or modify the piece. Can’t wait for the Tiny Turner!
