PENS FOR TROOPS:
The program was born a decade ago and many people across the nation make writing pens for our troops seeing action overseas. Our chapter produces close to 200 pens a year and we make this project one of our special production weekends that we try to tie in with a public event like a BBQ contest to draw attention to our craft and the reason behind our making of these pens. We have met several of our military who have received one of these pens and their appreciation is what keeps us making even more pens.
