Description:
Frank has literally taught hundreds of turners at places like Woodcraft and Highland Hardware. "Frank Bowers from Atlanta provided us with a full day demo. Frank is a wonderfully gifted turner and teacher.
During the morning session Frank went over how he cuts a bowl blank from a log and out of that rough turned a bowl and a natural edged bowl. During the afternoon session (I counted 30 in attendance) Frank showed us how he finish turns a bowl from a roughed out piece, a two pieced hollow form with a joint hidden with a bead and a three winged vessel initiated from a cube. With all the interest in the three winged vessel I’m expecting a few three winged pieces entered into this month’s instant gallery. Thank you, Frank for sharing with us your passion and experience."
