Call for 2027-2028 MSWG Board Member Candidates
At the November 21, 2026, MSWG General Meeting, as per the MSWG Bylaws, members in attendance will elect four MSWG Board of Directors (BoD) members for the 2027-2028 term.
MSWG will announce the slate of candidates willing to serve on the 2027-2028 BoD at the October 24, 2026 General Meeting or by email, as per the MSWG Bylaws.
As of December 31, 2026, the following Board Members will be at the end of their current two-year term:
Rick Gillespie, Two-year term 2025-2026
Larry Sefton, Appointed in January 2026 to fill the remainder of a 2025-2026 term
Mark Manning, Two-year term 2025-2026
Sam Dawson, Two-year term 2025-2026
There are no assurances as of now that these four members will run as candidates for the 2027-2028 term.
If you want to make a difference for MSWG, please volunteer as a candidate or nominate another qualified MSWG member.
Ways to Volunteer as a Candidate or Nominate a Member
Best method - Submit the short form on our website linked below titled ‘BoD Volunteer/Nomination Form.’ This will put your name or the name of your nominee into MSWG’s secure online data base. There will also be an automated email sent to MSWG’s current leadership regarding all candidate volunteers/nominations.
Or tell a current board member and hope they remember to relay your request/information.
