Important MSWG Board Election Update
To All MSWG Membership,
At the November 21, 2026 general meeting MSWG members who are present will be voting using a paper ballot for those will serve for the 2027/2028 term on the MSWG Board of Directors (BoD).
This election is to determine who will serve as board members for that two year term.
At the new BoD’s first 2027 meeting those board members present will elect the Board officers for calendar 2027 (President, VP, Treasurer, and Secretary).
This year the 2025/2026 two-year term for FOUR current MSWG board members will end. All four have agreed to serve again so their names will appear on the 2027/2028 voting ballot:
Rick Gillespie (Current MSWG President)
Sam Dawson (Current BoD Member at Large, Lifetime Member)
Larry Sefton (Current Webmaster, Lifetime Member)
Mark Manning (Current BoD Member at Large)
The following MSWG members have volunteered to serve on the BoD for the next two year term so their names will also appear on the 2027/2028 voting ballot:
Bob Wolfe (Past MSWG President, Lifetime Member)
Sven Nystrom
Edward (Ed) Ayres
During the October 20, 2026 BoD meeting Rick Gillespie made a motion to modify the MSWG Bylaws making it possible to have 9 BoD members. The motion was approved.
Rick Gillespie will be presenting the Bylaws modification at the November 21, 2026 MSWG general meeting for membership ratification before the actual voting takes place.
