Demonstration and Workshop with Myra Orton

The Art of Unique Inlays and Embellishments

A big THANK YOU to the MSWG Board of Directors for having Myra as a demonstrator at the Saturday, May 24 General Meeting and as the instructor for the May 25 all-day Workshop.

Bottom line - Myra Orton is clearly a professional and is a great instructor.

There were 33 members in attendance for the general meeting. For those who did not attend it was your loss. Myra provided one of the best demonstrations our club has had. From the back corner of the room I had a view of the total meeting. Let me say what I observed were 33 engaged members taking notes 100% of the time. When the half-time break was over everyone came back to their seats quickly because they wanted to see more.

Sunday, May 25 was a GOOD DAY and the following photos say more about the workshop than I can with just words:

Left to Right - Mark Maxwell, Mark Manning, Roy Grant, Skip Wilbur, Myra Orton, Doc Shaw, and Doug Woodward - - Not in photo is Ken Burnett who had to leave early
