For many years MSWG members made and provided unique Beads of Courage boxes for Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital in Memphis. Beads of Courage, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and teens coping with serious illness, as well as their families and the clinicians who care for them. Each time a patient completes another treatment, their bravery is rewarded with a special bead. Handmade BOC boxes provide safe storage for those hard-earned beads.

The Mid South Woodturners Guild (MSWG) is a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners located in Memphis, TN. Our mission is to provide information, education, a meeting place and an effective organization for all who are interested in turning wood.

MSWG thanks NHLA for their generosity in sharing the use of their facility for club meetings, woodturning demonstrations, and holding woodturning workshops​
