The woodturners wig stand program is a nationwide community service initiative organized by chapters of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) and Women in Turning Women in Turning (WIT). Woodturners turn and donate custom wood wig stands to cancer treatment centers and hospitals for patients experiencing hair loss as a tangible way to give back to our communities, especially knowing how cancer has impacted so many families, co-workers, and/or friends.

The Mid South Woodturners Guild (MSWG) is a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners located in Memphis, TN. Our mission is to provide information, education, a meeting place and an effective organization for all who are interested in turning wood.
