This segmented woodturning was originally a 6-1/4" ribbon streptohedron until "Oops" (it was dropped). Now it is an interactive piece of art. The surface was textured using a round burr on a rotary carver. The exterior color was added in layers using the dry brush method. OK to handle with CLEAN HANDS.  The woodturnings are privately owned and are on loan to NHLA, please do not remove from the room.

The Mid South Woodturners Guild (MSWG) is a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners located in Memphis, TN. Our mission is to provide information, education, a meeting place and an effective organization for all who are interested in turning wood.

MSWG thanks NHLA for their generosity in sharing the use of their facility for club meetings, woodturning demonstrations, and holding woodturning workshops
