Finial made using bent laminated method . Finished using General Finishes Arm-R-Seal oil-based wipe on varnish.

Story behind this piece's name:

A man in our neighborhood planted this Royal Paulownia tree, only to discover later that it was a very invasive variety. As the tree grew faster and faster, the man was heard to lament "Oh why, oh why, did I EVER plant that tree?!?!?!"
